Speaker Bio – Mike Hadra

Mike possesses extensive expertise in Project Management, Budgeting, Profit and Loss Management, Quality Systems, and Process Improvement. His career began with seven years in engineering roles, followed by 35 years of progressively increasing responsibility in general management, including leadership roles in Sales, Service, and Project Operations. Through this experience, he developed significant knowledge in Supply Chain Management and consulting services.

Fluent in Spanish, he has extensive experience in international business and works effectively in multicultural environments. His professional career includes time at ABB, a multinational supplier of engineered control systems for process industries, where he served in engineering roles, managed regional profit and loss centers, led a large project operations group, and later oversaw Operational Excellence and Safety for a North American division.

 

Host: Pamela Alvaro-Unzueta
Pamela is a bilingual business advisor at the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Columbus State Community College. She acts as a liaison for the Hispanic/Latino community, providing essential tools, education, and guidance to successfully start, grow, and sustain their businesses. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Universidad del Valle de México and has extensive experience in strategic marketing, public relations campaigns, and community engagement initiatives to support business growth.

Pamela is also a small business owner, dedicated to promoting her culture through everyday goods. Her business specializes in unique cultural items, ensuring that each product tells a story and connects customers to her cultural roots. Through her professional and entrepreneurial efforts, Pamela fosters cultural appreciation and awareness.
